Going on a Safari on the Mediterranean coast, just a few kilometers away from your campsite, why not?

So, this is what the Cap Soleil offers you! While staying at the Cap Soleil Campsite in Vias, in the heart of the Hérault department, you will be close to an african animal reserve. It will be a surprising and fascinating visit through an unique park by car like in a real safari, there is also a safer area where you can walk.

You will have the opportunity to observe the animals move freely in their natural environment. From the big lion king of the jungle, to the elegant giraffes without forgetting the curious ostriches, you will enjoy more than a simple zoo visit, an exceptional experience, close to your campsite.

The reserve has more than 3800 animals living within 300 hectares, a large enough semi-natural space where the animals remain wild and feel at ease to reproduce. The Sigean Réserve contributes in this way to the protection of animal species in danger of extinction.

Within this park you can also enjoy the preserved flora, which is explained to make it accessible for everybody. The park offers also a magnificent panorama of the ponds of Peyriac and Sigean. The vegetation is typical of the occidental Mediterranean weather.
